Emily Ann, I can not believe you are 7 months old. Time is flying by and as each day passes, your daddy and I love you more and more. You are a great baby and your little smiles make my days so much better than they were before you got here. We love you so so much baby girl.
Firsts: Tooth, trip to Brookhaven to see your Great-Grandmother, first time to sit in the bathtub on your own, you finally got some boys to hang out with- Welcome Caleb and Caleb!
Milestones: Ba ba ba da da da da da, ba ba and ma ma ma ma ma (while crying), eating baby food two times a day
Measurements: About 18-19 lbs., 27 or 28 inches long , size 3 diapers, 6-9 month clothes
Like Mommy: Occasionally, you dress the same :)
Like Daddy: You get grumpy with lack of sleep but are almost always in a great mood in the mornings.
Food: You eat 4 oz. of baby food fruit and 6 oz. of formula when you wake up in the morning. You take 8 oz. of formula about 4.5-5 hours later at lunchtime. For dinner, you eat 8 oz. of a veggie and fruit. Finally, you take between 6-8 oz. of formula right before you go to bed.
Sleep: You sleep from 8:30PM- 9:00 to 8:30 AM every night. You sometimes take a short nap in the morning as we run errands and a 3 to 3.5 hour nap in the afternoon.
Challenges: In the past few days you have not wanted to lay down for your nap- this is where we have heard the "ma ma ma ma" the most.
Our Days: You wake up at about 8:30 each morning and have breakfast. After you eat, we usually cuddle and you play before we run errands. You eat again between 12:30 to 1:00 then we play from the end of that feeding until 1:30 when you usually get sleepy. You sleep from 1:30 to 4:45. At 4:45 you eat baby food, then spend some time with Daddy. You play with your toys after "dinner" and cuddle with Mommy and Daddy. You take a bath every other night, sometimes with Mommy and sometimes on your own. We feed you at about 8:15 and you go to bed at 8:30.
