John 6: 68-69

*"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God."*
John 6: 68-69
A friend and I are reading through the book of John together in preparation for our trip to Israel. As we were reading, this scripture stood out to me. Peter has this great way of messing things up, yet he seems really have a great understanding of who Jesus is.
Lord, to whom shall we go when we are going through hardships and pain?
Lord, to whom shall we go when we are struggling with temptation and sin?
Lord, to whom shall we go when we have experienced great joy?
Lord, to whom shall we go to find salvation?
Lord, to whom shall we go?
