I have really been looking forward to my weekly baby updates, but have been trying to wait until 15 weeks to begin! I wasn't really sure where to start, so I am using the same format as Brittney at Far More Than Rubies. Brittney, I hope that's okay!!
So without further ado, here is my 15 week update!
How far along? 15 weeks, 3 days
Total weight gain: I lost 4 pounds between the first and second doctor's appointment and I haven't gained anything since, so I am sitting at -4 lbs.
Baby Bump? A little one, but only Brian and I can really tell.
Maternity clothes? Not yet- I have a pair of jeans ready though! My sweet husband brought them to me one night as a happy day surprise.
Cravings: I am not really craving anything particular, but I have a pretty low tolerance for super sweet things. For example, today I went to a cute cupcake place and only ate 3/4 a cupcake. Crazy. And totally not me.
Symptoms: Weird appetite- it's been really difficult to eat a full meal.
Sleep: I am sleeping through the night, but am getting a little worried about my stomach sleep. I really need to invest in a body pillow.
Movement: Not yet. Earlier this week I felt a few flutters in my lower stomach, but I am not really sure if that was anything. I think it might have been wishful thinking.
Gender: We find out at our next doctor's appointment!!! I can't wait!
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Not feeling guilty about sleeping on my stomach. And I turned down fish and chips today because I wasn't sure about the fish situation. I only like catfish and cod, so turning it down made me kind of sad!
Best moment this week: Seeing our sweet baby on the ultrasound machine. It had the most precious profile, adorable hands and feet, and the hiccups! It's funny seeing him/her hopping inside of me.
Brian and I had hoped to get a car yesterday, but were sadly let down by the dealership, so the search is still on. Somewhere, there is a Highlander with our name on it!
Finally, it's Spring Break!!! I have been in desperate need of a break for quite awhile, so I am looking forward to a nice and relaxing week! More on that to come!!
