Baby J- Week 17

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a spectacular Thursday!
Here's the weekly update!

How far along? 17 weeks, 7 days

Total weight gain: I gained a pound! So I am sitting at -3 lbs.

Baby Bump? Yup.

Maternity clothes? Not yet, but the cold front this week has made it very difficult to get dressed in the morning. I am looking forward to spring skirts and dresses.

Cravings: Birthday cake sounds really amazing- I'm not talking Duncan Hines, I'm talking top of the line birthday cake from a bakery. So does a vanilla milkshake from Milo's. Together, they would make me the happiest girl in the world. Too bad my birthday is not until August.

Symptoms: Same random yuk things. And I am hungry all. the. time

Sleep: Sleeping well!

Movement: Sometimes in the middle of the day, I feel a flutter as I am walking around the classroom or sitting at my table. It could be movement. It could be gas. Your guess is as good as mine. I need to find a book that defines these feelings.

Gender: We find out a week from today. Oh my stars, I can hardly wait.

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: Coke. Running up the stairs without getting out of breath.

Best moment this week: Kids Market! We are now the proud new owners of a jogging stroller that we purchased for less than 1/2 the price, a like new swing, and a couple of outfits. It was probably the most stressful thing I have ever experienced. The room had so much stuff you could barely get around. My ticket was only good for me to get in, so I called Brian about 30 times while I was there. He checked recalls, customer reviews, and compared prices. I sent several picture texts of items. If we wouldn't have had cell phones, I would have been completely lost. Why is there SO MUCH stuff!?

  1. Hooray for baby things! And awesome about the sweet purchases! Have a great weekend!

  2. How EXCITING!! Shopping is so much fun! I HEART my jogging stroller still. I will be so sad when Allie grows out of it. Can't wait for next week!

  3. if I was there, I'd bring you a very cute and special onesie... AND I'd get you the book The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy by Vicki Iovine. She's not a believer, but this book is SO DARN FUNNY! Especially as you get further along. Trust me, you'll laugh! I gave a copy to Beth Allen. Ask to borrow hers if you don't wanna buy it! Love you! And yes, there is SO MUCH STUFF!!! Baby J will triple your laundry!

Thank you for your comment!
Have a blessed day!
