School has been "in" for the past 2 weeks. My students and I are getting used to each other, we have read tons of great books, had several good math lessons, and we have celebrated one birthday "old school style (with real birthday celebration treats.)" It is my first cupcake on a student's birthday since I started teaching. Love it. But with all this going on, I haven't been able to focus on some of the things I love....

But that's okay. God provided me with this magnificent job and an excellent faculty of friends and support. Once I get back in the swing,I will be back doing the things I love along with teaching.
Though high school football started last Friday in Alabama, the real deal starts Saturday-
